D15b auto

D15b auto
Search function isn't working for me right now so here's the questions:
Could I use my DX auto transmission with the D15b? What are the disadvantages if it was possible. I'm sure everything from my DX engine swaps over onto the D15b and I'll have to hook up the wires for vtec. What all do I need for it to run right? Any difference in the D15B auto tranny vs DX auto tranny? Also is there any cam/valve difference between the auto and manual D15b?

Re: D15b auto (Drew95eg)
So all I need is the motor and auto d15b ecu and i'm good to go? Reason I asked was redline for dx was 6.4k and the d15b was roughly 7.2k. I'm not familiar with this auto stuff

Re: D15b auto (Cuong-nutz)
hmmm... just out of curiousity, why would you get the jdm spec ecu? fuel maps and all are different, i would just run an auto ex ecu, i think it would be p28? not sure though.
i am kinda interested in knowing what would be the right way to go.

I totally forgot about the p28. The auto EX ecu should work fine. If I were to use to p08, I think I'd have to rig up something for the O2 sensor to work right. IIRC, the p08 has a leaner fuel map and more timing adjustment
