Are all D series Transmissions interchangeable whether its an 88-91 or 92-2000 Will they bolt up to any D series block?

Your best bet is to PM "Bense" aka D series Tranny God! You'll skip alot of BS that this thread will probably generate! Or.... Do a search!!!!!!!!

His best bet would be to search, as this is a VERY common topic.

92-00 will bolt right up to a 92-00 motor
Everything before that is a cable transmission, but the swap can still be done with a cable>hydro conversion kit.

BTW, I'm running a 95 tranny on a 98 motor.

92-00 is hydro transmission
91 and below is cable.

A hydro would NOT work on a cable tranny car and vice versa. but any tranny from 92-00 will work with any 92-00 and any 88-91 will work with any 88-91.

u have a 90 crx, so u need the 91 crx si tranny.

correct me if im wrong
