D-Series Tranny which one???
I've done a search already and came up with all of this info on B series trannies but nothing on D series. I have a 98 dx hatch that will be running 8-10 lbs boost on a small greddy kit. Car is my daily commuter and will be used at some solo II events also. Which tranny should be looking at or should I just use what I have. The gears are pretty long which seems to work out pretty well in my favor with the boost. What do you guys recommend. All opinions will be much appreciated.

there is one, (i have it for lsd, putting it in an ex tranny with srr 4.7) got it off of a buddy. can't get to it to read the code right now. I would say stick with your dx with boost, the longer gears help with speed.

D Series Tranny From 6th Gen - D16Y8 (Si?,EX) has steel shift forks instead of aluminum. - Not sure if that is the case with the lesser trannies from that generation.

Nope...no Si tranny from the 6th gens...that B series tranny will not work with a D series motor!

Yep...
92-00 S20 JDM D15B (sohc vtec) - hydro tranny - LSD equipped, 5spd version.
HyperduckTuning.com sells em for $700 Canadian or $500 US
Came in the vti/vxi-obdI version. The gear ratios are identical to the USDM/Can Si/EX equipped with D16Z6 (5spd cars) and so are the cases.
More info on the motor: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=585043

Agreed...for boost or nitrous, stay with the DX tranny, for N/A do Y8 or Z6 tranny.
(Sorry to bump the old thread...I was bored )
