Tranny question, Boosted Y7 falling out hard!!!!!
When i shift on my car, every gear has to respool from the start, setup is in sig!!! curious if this would be helped much if i switch my ex tranny in? also in first gear the tires won't even break loose at 8lbs???????? just curious if this is all the y7 tranny at its best?

Y7 tranny SUCKS *****. You might see more than a whole second gain in the 1/4 mile by switching to the Y8 tranny. There's some really good D Series tranny info here. http://home.cinci.rr.com/mistab0ne/tranny.html

open dump 1 3/4" dump,
i was trapping 90 with a gtech last night... i will not even post the time
so the reason it wont break the tires loose is the damn tranny?

Not sure why your dump isn't making noise. I would consider that a good thing anyways. I'm having mine recirculated into the downpipe to cut back on noise.

yeah i guess it is, all i hear is spool and the thing holds rock solid!!!!!
