Cv joint/Half shaft question

I have a b16 sir2 in a 92dx hatch back Im trying to replace the drivers side axel and I cant get the cv to come off it whats the trick?

Trying to get it out of the tranny? Its not the funnest thing. I use a pry bar and pull on something solid close to the tranny and wiggle it out.

No im trying to get the outer part of the cv axle to come apart where it goes in the half shaft.
