working on a eg 4 door bone stock with 5 speed.

car suddenly died one day had no spark. I put used dizzy car ran afterwards just great.

week or 2 later car keeps dying out of no where wether rolling or at a stop light.

tack and temp gauge bounce around as they please at times but no idle fluxuation or anything. all smog and lines are there no vacuum leakes.

need help what diraction to take, I checked all grounds is it possible the dizzy is taking a ****?

every time the car dies it starts right up whats the problem

The bouncing tach may suggest a bad igniter unit inside the "new " distributor.

When it won't start, is there spark? Does the fuel pump prime? CEL codes?

was a used (new to me) dizzy

it would start just fine even when it would die no cels and fuel pump prims every time

I'm thinking igniter unit, though also consider the coil.

^ x2 the bouncing gauges seem to suggest so. Doubtful you'd be having a different problem that would cause that at the exact same time this symptom showed up.

Try getting something like that if you can find the right kit on there. Should solve alot of problems, and save a little money.
