crossed hoses and fluids in wrong spots ?! what to do
Ok my buddy bought this b16 off a guy. It had a blown piston so we decided to fix it. We get right to the end, he fires up the car without me at the house. Well, he kinda ran the hoses that flows coolant from the block ( below the Intake mani on the block ) to the fuel tank. And he ran the fuel line to the throttle body ... Those were backwards ( yeah cuz the block goes to the throttle body ) . The fuel pressure gauge was at around 50 psi also ( duh.... )
The car ran but as soon as you gave it throttle it died. Well, the spark plugs were full of fuel. He called me and said come over. 2 am
I went over and i re-routed all the hoses acorrding to my b16. Now the car runs , we drove it down the road and it died Now it wont start
We drained the fuel tank and put new in there cuz of the coolant. Still wont start. Sounds like a dead battery but its charged and i tried to jump it. I just wont freakin turn over. He doesnt have the cash for a shop and I really dont feel like openin that back up....
any suggestions ...
thanks and sorry about the abuse to an b16 , its a crime
