Cross Drilled Rotor Opinions? I need stoppers.
My stock 92 CX rotors are warped to hell and need to be replaced.
I really didnt want to do any break swaps or anything major. I figured Id just get new rotors.
Would after market cross drilled rotors be more beneficial than stock rotors turned?
Again, I seriously dont want a break swap becasuse:
a) have to clear the 13' vx wheels
b) weight
c) money
d) lazy
Any input for cross drilled rotors would be appreciated. Brand ect. thx..

If you are just daily driving then it really doesn't make much of a difference. X-drilled are known to crack under heavy usuage so that's why people say slotted it better.
But either slotted or x-drilled will cool better than stock so go for either, like I said most people go for slotted.

I ahd a long conversation with WilWood's tech department. They said for street vehicles cross drilled or slotted doesn't do anything better then regular rotors besides wear your pads out a little thinner.
My WilWood kit came with cross drilled and slotted rotors Go figure.

Waste of money, Get some good replacement rotors and some good pads. Cross Drilling and Slotting does not help cooling or stopping, it was for when pads outgassed every time you got them hot, Modern brake pads do not do this.
Also good brake pads will help rotors from "warping" as they will transfer less material to the rotors and do it evenly.
