Crappy idle, almost no idle on EK
here's the problem:
when the car is cold, it does the jumpy idle dance, when it warms up it goes away, but then it idles and then dies.
here's what I tried:
took off the IACV, cleaned it up, nothing
tried to adjust the idle by the screw on the TB ( on the top part, i read on h-t that it adjusts idle, it didn't do anything), with the TPS on and off...
Now im starting to think the timing may be off, i bought the car built, so I didn't do any of the work...say what you like...im just trying to make it so my car can idle and I don't have to rev it up at lights...

Did you just turn the screw to adjust the idle? It might not work that way...
The engine has to be up to normal temp, and you have to disconnect the 2P connector from the IACV. Then start the engine with your foot on the gas a little, and let it hang at about 1000RPM. Then release slowly and let it settle into its idle. THEN you adjust the idle screw.
And then, before you reconnect the 2P connector to the IACV, TURN THE IGNITION OFF. Then reset the ECU.

also check that the cams are properly in time with each other, and the crank.then set the ignition timing.
