Well, I am looking for a tire that will perform both in rain and dry conditions. My Si's stock tire should be a 195/55/15 81V..

I was thinking of getting these:

They are a lower speed rating, is that a big factor if I am only going to be daily driving? What would you recommend?

Kumho have a couple. or u can get some blizzacks great in wet and snow. and its the poor mans drag radial

I've owned the Avid T4's....and I know for a fact that they are good all-season tires. If you're not going to be doing any kind of snow driving...kumho 711 would be good too

Anyone run these before? I am a poor college student, I don't want to make the wrong decision and I cannot afford 2 sets of tires.

I have not used them, but http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...rt+A2 has reviews on the SP Sport A2s. Maybe it will help you decide.

Well...Dunlops are very good tires...and that looks like a VERY good all-season tire. However, with a treadwear rating of 420...don't expect very good dry performance because that is an EXTREMELY hard compound. If most of your driving is rain/snow...they will be great...if you do mainly spirited dry driving, then i'd look for something with a lower treadwear rating.

High Treadwear= Long life, Bad Dry Traction
Low Treadwear= Short life, Good Dry Traction

You'll have to decide...but somewhere along the line you'll have to compromise

i ran those in the summer (205/50/15). the tires themselves were pretty good. it's a bit slippery in rain and the treadwear really sucks (althought i drive alot). i'm looking to buy new summer tires again next summer

Dunlop SP Sport A2's were the best tires that I've ever owned. Awesome traction (especially in snow), and they're cheap.
