Correct offset for 17" alloys
Just wondered if anyone on here can tell me what offset i need for a set of 17" OZ Superlegara's (with 205/40/17 tyres) on and EG5 HB. I have been offered a 2nd hand set off an EK VTi HB, but they are stamped 7J ET37, and the UK based guys i have spoken to recon it should be a 45mm offset (ET45).
Can anyone tell me what they should be, or whether EK and EG offsets are the same?

Re: Correct offset for 17" alloys (CivicESi)
my 17's are a 40 offset. It does rub on the fender if the wheel is turned too far over bumps. With a little more camber, and maybe .25-.5" higher height, it would probably be fine. Here's a pic:

Cheers
it was suggested by a few people that i need 42-45 mm offset, not the standard 37mm which this guy has got. He hadnt lowered his EK, but i do intend on dropping my EG, probably around 30mm, and dont want any rubbing problems, so sounds like these wheels aint for me, shame as they would have looked sweet
