bump, ac fan works. does the temp cooling sensor on the head have anything to do with the fan?

no.

if you jumped the fan and it turned on, that indicates a problem with the switch. install a new oem fan swtich and bleed the system. you should be all set

Losing coolant? Is the coolant actually flowing? Both hoses getting hot?

I have a spare Honda oem in now and the previous one is mishimoto low temp switch (only one year old). Maybe it possible both are bad? haha if so that's some ****!

thanks for the input guys, is there any way to check to see if the switches are good before I go buy a new one?

did you bleed the system after installing the spare switch?

fan troubleshooting (should work for most hondas)

With the thermo switch connected on the engine & plugs off, use a multimeter to check for continuity on the 2 pins on the switch. It should be open when engine is cold, and it should be closed when coolant gets hot. If it proves to be working according to specs, check the connectors. If all of the above is ok, check for proper coolant circulation.

Ok, I will get a hold of a meter this weekend, thanks bro. Circulation seems to be good, both hoses are hot and no fluid leaking.

Yes, I burped the system after re-install. I will check the troubleshooting guide out when I get from from work, thanks for the link! I'm sure it's going to be something really stupid in the end lol.

yup, sounds like a bad thermal switch. Mishimoto is not the best, OEM FTW

If you jump the unplugged 2P fan switch connector, does the fan run when the key is in ON(II)?
