Coolant Bypass Hose
My car was overheating bad today. Came to find out that my coolant bypass hose busted on me. So I took out the hose and it was a small hose and a terrible rip.
So I thought to myself, can this hose be the problem? I mean, the hose is small and Im expecting another problem but I dont know. Ive been reading over thrends and i read that there might be air in the radiator which is a easy fix, could it be that?
I changed my thermostat, valve cover gasket, water pump, radiator, headgasket beginning this year.
thank you

Re: Coolant Bypass Hose (EG9_808)
I'm kinda confused as to what the problem is.
I got that the old hose busted...and ur not sure what the problem is...
Change the hose, and find out, if it's still overheating that wasn't the problem. Though busted hoses are usually a good clue...
