Connecting Rod Problem!!!!

Default Connecting Rod Problem!!!!

i got a quick question about b16a2 rods. i bought a set of rods off a guy here (honda-tech) and he gave me all 4 connecting rods that say 2 on them. can i still use them, and also how can i identify which piston is which just incase ...

is the number half on the rod and the other half on the rod bearing cap? if so that just tells u what bearings to use

now u match those numbers to the appropriate letters on the crank and BAM there are your rod bearings. good luck man

All the cap and rods say 2 though, i thought they are saposed to be labled 1,2,3,4
not 2,2,2,2

It does not matter what cylinder you put them in. They are not #1-#2-#3-#4. The 2 tells you what size they are so you have an idea what bearings to use. Get a Helms.

there are letters on the crank where the rods go and u match those letters with the numbers on the rods
