compression test
i did a compression teest on my B18b the other day just to see how it went.. but the numbers seemed extremely low like in the 50s they were all within 5 psi of eachother and the motor runs great.. but i was wondering if there could be a reasoning for this.. i did the compression test like this.. i unplugged the ECU, put the compression tester in #1 had a friend watch it and cranked it over till it stopped moving.. then went on to #2 and so on. i went 15.8 @ 89 with it in my coupe and that was on a shitty 60 ft so the motor is definitely running good..

Re: (ABK)
When I did my compression test.. I warmed up the car just a little bit and then unplugged the distributor plugs and pulled the 'Back Up' fuse in the fuse box. Then I did the compression test with the gas pedal floored.

Re: (JDM EJ1 95)
hmm, i did mine by just pulling the injector clips off, i didnt floor it ether and it came out fine. But yeah that could be a factor. Just the fact that they were all close together usually means good things.
