Default coilover adjustment

do you guys go by the gap between the wheel and the top of the well, or do you go with the same height of the threads???

if your judging by that, make sure that the surface you are working on is completly flat. That is the right way to do it though.

The right way to do it is on corner scales.
The whole reason adjustable coil-overs exist.

very very true.... throw it on corner scales and try to get the sums of the 2 diagonal weights as close as possible (LF + RR should be as close as possible to RF + LR).

You should also be sitting in the driver's seat when you do the corner weights. Have a friend weigh/adjust them while you do this.

You want to have each corner as close as possible in weight.

so the thread difference doesn't really matter?? on my front left, i turned it 16 times while on the front right i didn't turn it at all and they were even. is this ok or is left too high??

okay setting your car up on scales if just to corner balance the car for racing. The chances are he just wants the car to sit level for daily driving so there is no need to put the car on scales. The thread count really dont matter, and an easy way to tell if your car sits level is to look at the sideskirts to see if they are level.
