Default code 54 crank fluctuation sensor?

bought this car couple weeks ago runs really good, head gasket does leak a little oil but its all good with me for now

anyways D16Y7 and I started notcing that the check engine light was never on when you turn the key to on

I asked the guy when I bought it if it had an y CEL's

well I took the dash apart to find the ****er removed the bulb!

sure enough I replaced it and the light was on!

so I did the cel check and its code 54 crank flucutation sensor

what should be my course of action?

Do a visual. Alot of times the sensor subharness isnt pushed back into its slot and the alternator belt rubs and damages the harness.

The harness runs along the timing cover and the connector is at the base of the intake manifold. Look between the alt belt and the timing cover.
