Default clutch slave cylinder problem- B hydro tranny slaves all the same?

i installed a new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder and bleed the system properly many many times. Pedal feel is fine, but its hard going into and out of gear and sometimes grinds. sometimes even is like "half-grabbing." Before the install all gear changes were perfect and clutch operation was perfect. Ive pretty much narrowed it down to being a defective clutch slave cylinder, OR the wrong slave cylinder.

Its a JDM B16A engine/tranny. Are all b-series clutch slave cylinders the same? On hondaautomotiveparts.com the 99-00 civic si part is the same as the VTEC del sol part. And all 94-00? integra models share the same part numbers according to acuraautomotiveparts.org , but are they all the same. B/C i think i was sent an Integra slave cylinder, and if they're different then thats the problem, if they're the same then its defective.

thanks for any info.
