Default Clutch problem

Sounds like pop corn popping when the car is in gear and you start to let out the clutch, it's quite loud. It's on my sister's completely stock 95 ex coupe. We're hoping that replacing the clutch and pressure plate will solve it; possibly some piece broke off and is being tossed around in there. Anybody with any helpful opinions? Thanks guys! -Joel

could be broken clutch disc and or pressure plate. Possible release bearing which they will replace also when clutch is done

Anybody have a rough estimate at how much a shop would charge for this?

Yeah, I know it would be but it's in the single digits (if that) outside for the temperature and I don't have any previous experience with replacing the clutch/pressure plate. Thanks though!

Damn! That sounds a lot better than 550! Haha, well that's unfortunate that we're so far away. Hopefully we'll be able to find someone locally that can hook us up. Thanks for your consideration and help

Okay, so my dad and I replaced the throwout bearing, clutch and pressure plate by ourselves in the garage. Pretty easy actually, just a bit time consuming cause they're is so much crap you have to take off
But it turns out that one of the springs on the clutch disc had popped out of the clutch and it was being tossed around (hence the pop corn sounds) Just in case others have a similar problem in the future
Oh and here's a cool looking pic I took right after we put the new stuff on
