ok, so i've molested my cluster.

does anyone know how to make one of these things light up outside of the car? i've seen pictures of lit up clusters sitting on desks....so i know that its possible...........

I'm not exactly sure... but try to tap in a powersource to A10+A11 pins and see if you can get anything through that.

Get a 12V power supply, ground pin B6 and apply power to A11.

I believe that is how its done.

the needles light up from inside the cluster, like fiber optic lights they carry the light. Unless you used a transparent paint its not going to work. They do have needle kits that make them real bright, I've seen them on ebay but never installed. Hope this helps. I do like the yellow needles though.

disregard my previous statement, just realized you were asking about lighting it outside of the car. thought you couldn't get the needles to light up, My bad!
