If you have both, put both in and see which you like to read better. Im telling you though after market tachs usually read better then gauge clusters on any car. Clusters are usually off by 200 to 300

Cluster.
That Autometer tach is so accurate, it's reading 1900 RPM when it's not even attached to a car.
