clear coolant hoses
Your suppose to search before asking questions. I do that and found a thread and posted in there just for it to be closed..https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...1211632&page=2
So, I am opening another thread.
Grassroot motorsorts showed a team using clear coolant hose. I think it was this team here.
Where can I buy clear hose that can with stand the heat of engine coolant? I have found lots of clear hose that will with stand lots of pressure but only handle heat to about 150f.

Re: clear coolant hoses
I had a buddy running clear coolant lines and had a led light underneath each one to light up the coolant. Looked pretty cool but cool isn't always functional.

I agree with you both. I am not doing it for my bling. If you saw my car you would understand.
If you look at the photo I posted above it does not look good at all. I know what it will look like after a few weeks/months.
I have seen the photoshop/blue led/red/etc.. fire ones. I am not after that.

Just function. Like this vw coolant expansion tank vs a solid black. With the vw one you can tell right away how much coolant you have or if it has air etc...

Re: clear coolant hoses
Can you find out from your friend where he bought it. How long did it last?
I know I can go to home depot and buy some reinforced clear hose that will last as DD if I only drive to work for 15 minutes one way. I want something I can take to the track when it is 100f+ outside and I am doing WOT for 30 minutes at a time.

TEXfluor® PFA tubing (Perfluoroalkoxy tubing) combines the attributes of TEXfluor® PTFE and TEXfluor® FEP, offering a working temperature of 500°F/260°C in a transparent, almost clear tube. Long continuous lengths coupled with the high working temperature make TEXfluor® PFA the resin of choice for many applications such as fluid handling and cabling systems.

I would think to be safe you would need at least 300f for coolant. dunno, what do you think.
The extra 899 meters might be problem to get rid off. Maybe with a group buy I can sell 30 meters. hahaha.

From the miata photo above http://wreckracing.gatech.edu/
I posted on their facebook page asking what they used.
I emailed the link above [texlocquote@parker.com] for quote. Since they do not have shopping cart I am going to assume they probably want me to buy 1000 meters.
I checked their store locator, they have store about 20 miles from my house. I will call them monday and see if I can buy just 20 feet.
