ok i'm buying these hoses for coolant it says max 50psi.. so is coolant like 500 psi or something?

also what other hoses can i use.. can i use the CLEAR plastic pvc hose for coolant? or how about the clear with braided white threads.. it says up to 200psi but if coolant is 50000psi, i can't use it.. please tell me it's under 75000 psi

 

Most radiator caps are usually rated at 13-16lbs. I can't see how any part of the cooling system could exceed that.

 

Also, the hose you use needs to be rated for the heat and chemical properties of coolant mixtures, not just the pressure.

 

stick with RAD hose, or get some SS stuff that can support coolant too

The clear stuff won't work, at the very least it will get cloudy and look bad. You should be more worried about the heat than the pressure. Have you ever taken off any of the coolant lines with the motor running? The fluid pours out, but it's no fire hose.

dude, jsut get stock hose and get one of those "dress up kits" for it. it will make it look liek it's stainless steel....
