cleaning underbody
I just wanted to know how you clean the under body of your car. I just want to get all that blakc and brown road grime off the bottom of my car. Clean all that stuff, like my control arms and whatnot. Would a scraper work? is the underbody fragile? etc...any helping info is cool.
thanks alot guys

Re: cleaning underbody (ARIZONA)
i dont have access to a lift....bah. I live in oregon and drive in the rain too, but it doesnt clean it that much. It washes the new dirt and shizz off, but not the caked on stuff. Castol degreaser works good u say?

it's alright... it's the brush that does most of the work... you can always use brake cleaner too, but it is not good for rubber and seals... plus a bottle only goes so far, so after say 5 of them, you are out $15. No biggie, but the degreaser comes in a big *** container and will last you.
