Clanking noise coming from right side of engine. Help!
Alright, so I'm a total car noob. After buying this car, I've been trying to learn how to be come self sufficient when it comes to cars.
Whenever the car sits in idle, it makes a clanking noise coming from the right side of the engine. I'm sure it's something obvious, but I have no clue. I know I need a need idle control valve, but I haven't head this noise before. Whenever it makes the noise, the car seems to lose power also.
Also, the car acts very sluggish in the rain. Very rough idle, very low power. Any ideas on either? More concerned with the first.
I took a video so you could hear the noise.

Oh, and it's a 1993 LX, 1.5L D15B7 stock engine, 208k miles.

based on his statements of a very low and rough idle, i doubt it is going to be one of the belts causing that, at least. I can't say whether or not i think it is the belt making the noise because i dont have speakers on this computer.
my rough idle problem was an issue of needed to
-clean the idle air control valve (search on here for tutorials and youll figure it out. nothing too cosmic there)
-bleed the cooling system (car on, heater on full HOT, heater blower off... loosen radiator cap and let it run until the fan comes on twice... refill coolant... repeat with a loose cap again... repeat with a tight cap. It helps if the car in parked facing uphill)
-set the timing (youtube how to check initial timing)
if it still idles poorly, i cant help you, but that worked for me.

I've cleaned the IACV before, and it stopped for about a day and a half. I'm supposed to be getting ahold of another one this weekend. I live in apartments, so I don't have anywhere to bleed my coolant system.
