Re: D16z6 CEL 22 (95sloweg)
yo do you have your o2 unplugged sloweg? Because mines unplugged from the headers as well i'm hoping it's just the o2 sensor that's making it throw the vtec code. My friend told me that it never threw the code until he switched out the headers and left the o2 unplugged due the fact that it was a one wire o2 plug.

code 22 is vtec. check the wire going to the ECU... maybe it has bad connection then check the wire going to the solinoid.
when i did my b16a swap my vtec wasnt working and i was also getting code 22.
what idid was do a strait wire up from the vtec solinoid thru the fire wall then to the ECU. sometimes the code comes on but i just turn the car off then back on and it goes away and vtec works fine.

correct me if im wrong, if a CEL is on then Vtec wont kick in at all. so in order for vtec to kick in even if you rewire it you have to get rid of the code 41, o2 sensor, for it to actually work,

Re: (95sloweg)
yeah i heard that vtec won't engage with cel light on . when i had my b16 we had to somehow trick the o2 sensor being hooked up to the ecu so it wouldn't throw any codes. but will vtec still engage with cel still on?

i was throwing the same codes, 41 and 22. my brother pulled my harness and checkd all the wiring and plugs. he put it back in and fixd it. hes my wire guy but im just telling u what he did.
he told me there are 2 o2 sensors on the pipiong and he only pluigd 1 in since thats all u need for the 41 code to go away then he rewired my vtec and its been working ever since

Re: (JDM_CRX_PLEASE)
well it seems to pull fine. i wish there was a way to know if vtec was engaging or not but in a sohc it's just hard to tell. if it wasn't engaging it would probably feel flat all the way up to redline wouldn't it?
