Default Civic Help - Please Reply!

Hey everyone,
Well i'm new to this forum and i'm also new to car modding. I need some advice on where to start and what to do. I'm thinking of buying/modding a Civic, im thinking of buying a 2000+ Civic Si (Not SiR), but im not sure if that would be the right car to buy, for what i want to do. If you think that the 2000+ Civic Si would be a good choice, could anyone please work with me on products for modding??
Thanx,
Jay2235

everyone here's gotta different opinions...and mine would be 92-95 hatch...and if ur gonna do a swap get cx or vx..prefer vx cuz they come vtec harness ready. why cx abnd vx? cux they're lighter than all the other civics made after 92. and why 92-95...i dunno..it looks SEXIER! hehe. hey just warning u before u get owned by anyone...we're here to to talk about tech/motor/performance stuff...not bodykits/neon lites/and especially APC craps...ok?

hatch..but ill go as high as a 98 only cuz it ll have less miles on it and u can run the motor hard for a longer period of time befor deciding what ur going to do..since u dont know what ur going to do yet..this is what id recommend..
