Civic Hatch (1998) Driver Window Problem
Earlier this week I rolled down my driver window, and when it got to the bottom a heard a faint noise. Since then it has not wanted to roll up completely/without tugging on the front end. So today I removed the door panel to find out that the window is off the fronter (towards engine bay/hood) guide. I tried bringing the window up & down and I cannot seem to get the window back into the guider. Any suggestions?
I can take pictures tomorrow if this for some reason doesn't make sense to anyone.
PS: Tried searching but cannot find anything, as well as this site's specific search feature pretty much blows.

You are going to want to unbolt the track if possible and remove it or move it out of the way it. I would then try to guide the window up slowly by hand and then reinstall the track making sure the rubber is in the track properly and the window lines up well. Then test before putting everything back together. At this point if it looks like it might run off the tracks again, adjust the tracks side to side or shim them in/out so that the window will go down/up smoothly. Thats my style. Someone might have some other tips and tricks..
Edit: Also make sure to check the bolts holding the window to the crank mechanism are tight and the clips holding the window are intact while your in there. If those break it could cause your window to jam or go off track.
