Default Civic front end conversion question

So my friend has a 2000 civic sedan. I have a 1997 coupe. I'm going to put the sedan front end on it so I have the facelift bumper. The issue is that the colors are different between the two cars. Is the dark green or light blue more expensive or harder to paint match?

Might get a more definitive answer in the paint/body forum.

Either way it'll be a custom job. I don't imagine the prices being too much different. Neither color is anything special, just a mix, prep, and spray. Your best answer would come from actually calling a couple paint and body shops and finding out.

I guess it doesn't matter much if I just get it dipped a new color altogether. The sedan grill is awful so I have to wait to buy an si grill anyway.

the problem you'll run into is trying to blend in the paint. partial resprays on 15 year old faded paint almost never look right. op- your green is a very common 99-00 sedan color. why not just hit junkyards and piece it together?

I know it's an old post but to the point his green was not available in 99 2000. That year was clover green slightly lighter and more metallic than the 96-98 green.

If your body shop can't blend it in you need to find another.
