The kit i'll be receiving will be white. Should I repaint before installation or paint after installation? What do u think the cost of painting front end runs for? thx

Most GOOD body shops have paint mixers, and can mix up any colors possible. All you need is the color number off your car. Which can usually be found between the drivers' door. It doesn't really matter if you get it painted with it on, or off, if you take it to the body shop, the will probably take it off, before painting it, to avoid problems with paint going on the winsheild and all (I've seen this been done before). The cost can vary. It all depends on which shop you take it too. If I were you, take it to a good body shop, and make sure they do the radiator support good. Try not to spend over $1,500, for everything.

The color on your car will no longer exactly match the exact color code due to fading, sunlight, etc.
Good body shops will do some blending so you do not see any hard lines of color differences...

Is what you will have to do is take the fenders, hood, to body shop to have them jammed. You will also have to weld the radiator support on and have them paint that as well. After you get the car back and the parts you will need to install them and have the car painted. Depending on the color of your car they will most likely have to blend into your doors to make sure the color matches.

I had all my parts painted before they were installed. However when I recieved the kit, the body shop test fitted the whole kit to make sure it will work and fit right before it was painted and installed.
Personally I would do the same. Why? Over spray! When they are painting the hood, fenders, rad support, etc... paint could get on the engine bay. Thats why I liked the way my shop did it.
Also I don't trust blending that much. It can be done right, but most often it wont match and will show up in pictures with flashes. I had my whole car repainted when I did my kit, just to make sure it would be done right. Oh yeah and the paint does fade. I had my car parked outside for 2yrs, then garaged since then and they still saw paint fading when they removed the side decals to paint.
