Civic axle ?
I know a guy who says his right side axle "clicks" somtimes. He already has a new one to replace it. What COULD this problem be, and how much Could it be to have the work done? Thanks (97 civic)

the problem is that his CV bearings ran out of lube (grease) and are clicking because of that. Replace the axle and your done. There is a DIY on HT, just do a search.

yea its not htat hard of a job. Just make sure to have some new fluid to put in the motor. I suggest using Honda MTF, but many people use other oils. DO NOT use motor oil, get tranny oil.

on the long run you will. Its too thin, it runs too much so it doesnt lube right. Gear oil is like 75W90. There is a reason its called motor oil and not transmission fluid.
