Why are you going to use an LS tranny?

my guess would be that you threw a rod, probably caused my overrevving or overheating or both!

i think it was overheating i think my engine was sucking up too much oil...... when i was hitting corners hard the oil light would start bleeping all sick and ****. but this only started maybe 1 day before i blew the bitch. i was going about 90 or so in third and then i noticed it wasnt pulling anymore which was strange cuz this car use to pull real nice. then i went to shift to 4th cuz i got scared and BOOOOOOMZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ... put put.. i pulled over engine cut off. lol .. coud not start it.
the next day i could start it but it sounded harsh and then i found the whole in the block. lol.. i was like damn. when it happend my friends suggested that i just blew a head gasket or something. but yea its blown to **** now. i got me a new engine complete with cable tranny jdm b18b for 200 bucks. so im going to hook that one up and do some building before i drop that bitch in.

ls tranny sucks, try getting your hands on a b16 tranny and youll put down better numbers

someone offered me a b16 tranny for 450.00 do u think that is a good deal and a type r with lsd for 800.00 and that is with shipping do u think it will improve my numbers by that much.

i was thinking there is a friend of mines with a crx with a jdm b16a and lsd in the tranny and he runs 15.2 and then i met a guy with the same engine and a ls tranny and he runs 15.1's with no lsd that is the only reason im really hesitating on getting that b16 trans...

o yea times are located in albuquerque new mexico our drag strip is over 1 mile in elevation above sea level.
