OK so this is just ****** weird. My bro wanted me to hook up a aftermarket cruise control on his '92 4door civic. So i started working on it today. Got the brackets all hooked up and ran the wires etc. I went to start it, but it just sat there cranking with the check engine light on. So i Unplugged everything new that i just hooked up, yet the engine light was still on. Car was fine before the cruise hookup. I had to tap into 2 seperate wires for the cruise hookup, but it cant be those cuz there still connected. Uhm he replaced the main relay 2 months ago so its not that. Now i did the Ecu code check with the wires on the passenger side, but the only plugs there were 2 little grey ones. one with a brown/green with white stripe, the other with a light blue grey stripe/green with white stripe. I used the wire method and paper clip on both of those plugs and still no code being flashed from the check engine light just stayed on. I dunno gimmie some ideas, its just kinda strange how it suddenly wont start. I didnt unplug anything under the dash either when i was runnin the cruise control wires so im stumped. thx in advance
