check engine light (jumpin temp needle )
ok so i have a 00 civic si , and i noticed my temp needle would move down to the C wen i open vtec then goes back into the middle , just recently i got 125k miles on the car and the engine light came on and now my temp needle jumps a lil more than before like ill b driving 45 mph and without opening vtec the needle moves to the C and then to the middle like back and forth then will stop and do it again, can anyone help me out , tell me what it could b? my boy said the sensor is prolly goin bad (idk)

nah its not last time i checked, it does real good on coolant, so if i was to do that would that make the engine light go away ?
