I am new to the world of newer hondas,i spent lots of time and money building my 87 CRX so im not familiar with the chassis codes for these hondas. I want to get one of those japanese plates for the front that say "MY EG6/EG2/EG9 HONDA" but i dont know what my chassis code is. its a 93 civic ex 2 door coupe with the D16Z6.

Yeah thats an ej1. Generally here on the wonderful world of H-T we refer to the cars by the JDM codes- EF for 88-91, EG for 92-95 and EK for 96-00. For search and reference use those, but your car, as with probably a good chunk of the folks on here are the USDM codes, ED, EH and EJ- you an EJ1, me an EJ8 for example.

what about an 87 crx dx?(thats the other honda i have)
Fuel injected D16A1(ZC) swap, all round disc brakes,tokico's,suspension tech...its a quick little car, much faster than she looks

Honestly I dont think I have ever seen chassis code info listed for older than an 88, so off the top of my head I cant offer anything there, but I will see what I can find.

Chassis: EC1 (I also saw AF_,EC1, not sure which it officially is, practically every time ive seen it referenced, it has the AF_ prefix... EC1 fits the format though)
