Charcoal canister vacuum line question
The line coming off the top of my charcoal canister is just hanging right now. I dropped a JDM b16 in the car, which has no evap purge control solenoid...what is the best option to do with that vacuum hose? Can I "T" it in to another line? I don't want fuel smell as this is my daily driver. The other 2 lines are hooked up, just this one that I'm not sure what to do with. this is in a 94 del sol btw. Will "T"ing into a line be a problem? I know the solenoid opens and closes to purge it, will it be a problem to run it into a constant vacuum line, almost like a constant purge?

Re: Charcoal canister vacuum line question (xZeler8)
def. don't plug it, thats an accident waiting to happen, you could leave it unplugged, from what I understand and gathered about them in the past, I believe it only releases the smell after 3-4K only I believe, something with the vaccum or whatever for that to happen, on my old DSM I unplugged it and never had the smell so I guessed the releasing at 3-4K was true, it has something to do with the high RPM's and releasing the extra into the motor and burning away, someone else might be able to explain it better, but thats the overview

Re: Charcoal canister vacuum line question (Slammed95Coupe)
thanks...i think i have a pretty good idea what it does, i'm just trying to figure out the best thing to do with it...is it possible to tap it into another vacuum line going into the intake, or will this create a problem?
