EVAP Purge line
Hey I was wondering where the EVAP Purge line taps in at? I know some do on top of the throttle body.. but my ITR TB doesnt have the vacuum line... where do these tap in at on B18C5 engines? anyone have a EVAP Diagram of a ITR's system?
the vacuum for the evap canister is controlled by the purge control solenoid, which is usually located around the IM plenum or the firewall. The solenoid has two vacuum lines connected to it and an electrical plug from PCM, one of the lines is from the canister and the other one is directly routed to the back of the plenum, you can't miss it.
I understand how the system works, I know the solenoid line routes into the intake manifold from the charcoal canister, the line running back to the fuel tank. but one more like labeled "Purge" normally runs into the throttlebody but there is no inlet on my ITR TB. where do the Type-R "Purge" line route to?
*EDIT* its the small line under the solenoid line. maybe its not the "purge" but on gs-r it plugs into the top of the TB
