car won't start, have fuel/spark
here's the scenario
car drove fine, perfectly strong in fact, for 4-5 months after my swap.. it's a obd2 gsr bone stock in a 97 DX coupe.. the other day after timing advance in 2nd gear, the car bogs like a **** so i drop it into 3rd.. i don't "beat" on it for the rest of the ride to work which is less than 2 miles away anyway.. i go into work, then decide to take lunch at 11:30, car won't start.. i'm getting spark and fuel, changed the plugs and i'm getting a strong spark, and the fuel filter (which was very old btw) and still nothing.. it sounds like it wants to start but just cranks and cranks.. you also can hear combustion but no start.. help!

Re: (Jimmy)
im getting spark from the wires AND the plugs tested both (friend held a bolt inside the spark wire and then we got new plugs)
fuses are all good, under the dash and under the hood
havent checked grounds, probably a good idea eh? lol

Re: (EkFG)
is the belt tight? only thing i can think of is that and maybe something like the starter armature is bent not cranking the engine fast enough... does it crank slow or still at the normal speed? but considering that you just had timing work done, my guess would be that its a timing issue.
