Get some jumper cables and find out if it is just a battery problem.........never heard of the starter just not crankin though......by pass the starter switch and run a jumper cable straight to the starter and see if that works(if the battery isn't dead)

See if someone can hold a volt meter on the battery when you crank to see what the voltage drops to. Also check your terminals and ground to make sure everything is good. If either terminal is not connected tight enough your car will not start.
Sounds like you battery is dead though.

Re: car wont crank (underpressure02)
ok went to autozone and they said its the battery all connection are good voltage stays above 10 all the time, sometimes it doesnt drop at all (very weird) but i think im gonna buy a battery at sams club or walmart and check to see if that solves it if not ill return it and then tackle the starter thanks for the help

dude.. use a little punctuation.. it helps the reading comprehension.
check your starter ground, in fact check all your grounds making sure contacts are good. I've seen this happen before.

Re: car wont crank (redlinetuning)
ok, sorry about the punctuation problem, i was typing fast. ill recheck everything again, but i thought the starter grounded itself to the block, and i know the block is grounded. im gonna go double check the ground above the thermostat for the ecu as well.

check your grounds. Especially the thermostat ground. mines came loose a few times. it may look secure but still give it a slight turn to be sure its tight
