car won start after tuneup
ok i so i did the usual tune up on my car plugs wires cap rotor all that stuff and now it not starting i check every thing fuel pump and relay are good im getting spark injectors are getting power i cant figure it out
any help is great

chances are you didn't put the plugs in the right firing order.

what? he didn't touch anything with the fuel.

You sure you're getting spark. If you tested for spark by letting the plug wires sit on the valve cover while turning it over you probably fried the ignitor in the dizzy. I should know, I've done the same during a compression test. First off, disconnect your fuel line and run it into a bucket, then turn the key to the on position to actuate the fuel pump. If you're getting gas, it has to be the dizzy.

no my dizzy is good i took the cap off and had my boy start it while i held a srewdriver near it and got shocked to hell. i even put all of the old stuff back in and same thang happens

You've checked all fuses and relays. You didn't dick with the timing belt. Your injectors are all clipped properly, you didn't remove the fuel line. You reinstalled the dizzy properly. WTF could it be?

no i didnt touch the timming belt injectors are getting power never took dizzy off only changed cap & rotor and plugs & wires relays are good fuel pump is comming on and that car ran great on the way to the parts store and on the way home but as soon as i was done changing every thing now i have this problem oh and the car is a 97 hx by the way
