car smoking need help/advice...
k so i bought a civic with a b16 in it. the compression was bad on cylinder 3. pulled the head off and one valve was chipped/burnt akmost in half. so i replace valves put head back on and notice a light blue/white smoke. i do a compression test and its about 195 all across. i take the head back off, change valve guide seals and check over everything in the head. everything looks fine. i notice oil in the intake manifold so i check the pcv cause its mostly in that runner where the pcv vents back in to the intake. replace pcv , headgasket again. start it and still smoke. i pull the exhaust manifold off and oil is slowly coming out of #3 .. could this be a bad oil ring on that cylinder? the cylinder walls all look fine. im kind of stumped and i think the only choice left is rings.. has anybody experienced this? please help
