Car Pops Out Of Gear
Alright guys im hoping you can help me with something. My 93 Civic Coupe with stock engine is popping out of gear.
It only happens when im in second gear and usually when I let off the gas and then get back on it, like when going around a turn it just comes out of gear.
PLEASE HELP!

Check to make sure you don't have a leak, and make sure the transmission fluid is at the proper level. It could be the beginning of a serious problem

Re: (OnePointFive)
Did you recently do anything with your shift linkage? If so you might not have greased up some of the bushings enough. When I first installed my short shifter with some poly bushings, I didn't use enough of their so called "super grease". It did the exact thing you explain. After taking everything apart again and relubing everything good, it was fixed. But if you didn't do any work on it, I'd say 90%chance your second gear is fawqd.

Tranny was replaced about 5000 miles ago. But from the get go with the new tranny second gear grinded occasionally when i shifted into it, which means the syncro was going bad. Would a bad syncro be teh cause of this also?
