Default car looks "lifted" after rear swaybar install

I just put a 14mm gsr rear swaybar on my eg hatchcrap. After I installed it, the car appears to be an inch or so higher in the rear than it was before I installed it. Did I put it on wrong, or is this normal?

have you moved the car since you put it on?

If you haven't, release the parking brake

Or just go drive it around the block a few times.

If your car got higher, then something is wrong. That is not normal at all.

I didnt think so. I drove it awhile, and it didnt get lower. I'll have to recheck the way its installed in the morning.

it must be binding somewhere then. When I put my 22mm on, my car was the same.

It might have to settle, release the parking brake a couple of times or like everyone else said it might be binding....
