Default cant find a mount to put this tranny in my car

i will post pics in a few min but i cant find any t-bracket that will fit in my car

i put a ls with an s4c trans in my car (2000 civic si) and nothing will make tihs trans bolt into my car... I HAVE A T-BRACKET FROM A DC THAT DOES NOT WORK!! because that is the bracket everyone sais to use and it does not fit onto my tranny...

so i went and bought a DA bracket that did fit on my trans it fit on perfect but now the mount does not line up with the bracket, and since all 88-00 civics use the same rear mount i need to know what bracket will make this trans fit on my car... ive been searching for a week now asking everyone i know nad its like nobody has ever put a b16a2 in an eg before... i thought i might need a bracket from a 2000 civic si tranny but everone sais it wont fit at all..

im stumped

anybody run into this problem im at a dead end

i will post pics in a few min of both a da and a dc bracket not fitting... plus i was looking at a pic of a del sol vtec bracket and it was exactly like the dc bracket so i cant see it working

TIA chris

here is the DC mount see how it fits the top of the tranny and the motor mount nice.. but the bottom bolts of the bracket dont line up with the tranny (19mm bolts not 17's)

this is the DA bracket that would fit on the tranny but the mount is not in the right spot this one is way off with the mount but the 19mm bolt holes lign up on the tranny (tried it when the trans and motor was out of car to double check)

DC top DA bottom

DC left DA right

i know someone out there's gota know whats going on with this its really making me not want the car anymore and because the motor torques so much when i drive it its already making the p/s axle click

Did you try jacking the motor/tranny up to get the two holes to line up?

some correct me if i'm wrong, but all b-series trannies are the same, they all bolt up to the blocks the same. and if it's going into an eg, then an integra , delsol, or 2000 civic si rear tranny bracket will fit.

try jacking the engine uo and down to position it. bolt it to the tranny first then the mount, and ALWAYS, do this mount first when installing the motor, just makes things easier.

Just so you know when putting a motor in that mount/bracket should be the first one to be seated correctly before you do anything else because its a bitch and half. That DC bracket should be fine to work but if it doesnt then a 2000 si bracket is what you need. Dont know who told you you needed a DA

usually u need the 99-00 rear bracket if your putting it in a SI

edit - why didnt u reuse your same mounts and brackets from your SI

read this, tells u wat u need for each swap you do

I have the same motor and tranny combo you have. And when I put it in if I let the motor hang off the side mounts my rear mount is off just as much as yours. Rock the motor. Or like stated previously attatch that mount first. I've swapped every EG/EJ I have ever owned and my friends and always used DC motor mounts. Try getting a friend to rock the motor forward while you line up the bolts. Good luck.

P.S. if you get them to line up put in the lower one first.

Does that not say 2000 Si?? Now it's an EG. EK's and EG's/DC's will use DIFFERENT rear brackets

guy's i am absolutely not a n00b at this and i have swapped atleast 12 eg's with a b series w/ this same tranny. The dc bracket DOES NOT line up...we have tired several different dc's brackets and **** dont work.

What are the chance's of the bell housing being messed up?

I have a s4 out of a 2000 SI in my car with a 94 gsr rear mount and I have all the bolts in mine. I looked at all the trannys at the shop yesterday and a DC rear bracket fit every hydro B-series tranny. I checked all models except a S4C out of a CTR, cause thats the only one we don't have. If I find anything out I'll let ya know. I hope you figure it out bro.

Oh if it helps any the only car I have ever used a 2000 SI rear mount in is a EK with a b-series. May work in other cars but I haven't found a combo that it would work with yet.

Word man, i have had s4c's in my eg's before and i have never had this problem. It is mind boggling.
It's not a CTR tranny because it has a factory EM1 vin on it.
