I've read em both, from people here in H-T. I want to know because I'm about to go buy a Multimeter, or a new TPS, and I'm low on budget. I've read here both you CAN get a TPS code from your TPS being uncalibrated, and that you can ONLY get the TPS code from bad wiring and or bad TPS, but not from bad calibration. Anyone? Thanks H-T!!!

Yes 100% sure you can get a tps code for a miss adjusted tps. If you have never messed with the tps and it just randomly came up then its most likely a messed up tps. Multi meters are cheap anyway just go pick one up and test it.

Thanks man! I got the multimeter, but now I need to wait for tomorrow to buy a new throttle gasket, it broke as I removed the throttle so I could work on the TPS. Anyways its a paper gasket it should be super cheap, just have to wait for tomorrow unless I try and put the 2 pieces together lol.
