Default can ls really be more ?

I have a 1998 ls engine in my 1992 hb, i am going to go boost in the future because the pistons are forged so i can run like 10 psi on stock internals. But till i can afford boost i am just wondering how i can get some better top end, i have intake headers , full exhaust system straight pipe. I raced a crx with a second gen sir i took it out of the whole about 2 cars but once he hit vtec he was gone. I have spray but i hate having to fill my bottle all the time just to get that extra hand in third gear, is there anything that can give me a hand in third gear because i don't vtec, any advice would be helpful thanx a lot

You have an LS. You're never going to have a great top end. Deal with it. Buy your turbo now.

Ya right, you're from Brampton? What area do you live in? I live in the M section (near Dixie and boulvaird).

Anyways, he's right. don't waste your money on N/A parts if your going to go turbo.

are you talking about the stock pistons or did you upgrade??? because the stock pistons are NOT forged they are low compression, that is why they are better for boost than say some p72 or p73 pistons. if you want to turbo charge the motor i would advise you to fortify it, so it will be less proned to blow up!!
