Can low oil pressure cause my fuel pump not to prime?
I have a 95 del sol with a d16z6 1.6 4 cylinder v-tech, and now it takes a while for it to prime (especially on hot days or whenever it rains.) I've pretty much replaced the ecu, main fuel relay, fuel pump, starter and distributor. At this point I feel like taking it to Honda so they can check it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Can low oil pressure cause my fuel pump not to prime?
My ideas after you've done those things, would be ignition switch? Fuel filter? I just don't know why it would be worse on hot days or rainy days though. They would effect the switch possibly, but not the filter. Also check for a clogged Vtec cylanoid. Maybe even a bad temp sensor. That's my only ideas.

As go250mph says, fuel filter is point one to look at if you haven't gone there yet.
After that, I start by tearing things apart and testing them one by one. the pathway is my first place to look, can the fuel lines flow easily?
