HELP 94 Sedan not getting fuel to filter
I just swapped the longblock out for another d15b7 since I bought the car with a siezed motor. The only problem I'm having now when I'm trying to start it for the first time is that I'm getting no fuel. My fuel pump primes no problems, and if I loosen the Banjo bolt on top of it and prime it, it will squirt fuel. But if I go to the filter and do the same thing, it's bone dry, and has no pressure. I'm at a loss at this point. I've replaced the pump and the filter just in case. I've taken a compressor and tried to blow air through the lines, but that didn't seem to do anything. Could it still be my main relay if the fuel pump is priming and pumping fuel (or at least trying to?)

Sounds like your fuel pump might be on the brink of failure, and not putting out enough pressure. Either that, or the line is clogged or kinked somewhere. You've already replaced the fuel filter, so that shouldn't be the problem. If you remove the fuel filter and turn the key to ON(II), how much fuel pressure do you have at the hardline? Have you inspected the full length of the fuel line for damage?

Re: HELP 94 Sedan not getting fuel to filter
I have a new fuel pump that I just installed yesterday thinking the same thing. But no difference. My only guess is that the line is clogged. I don't really have a way of inspecting the entire line since the car is just on jack stands in my side yard. I'm not leaking fuel anywhere, which is why I think it may just be clogged.
And when I remove the filter I still get nothing to that hardline, it's completely dry. I don't have a fuel pressure gauge, but no pressure is relieved at the filter when I pull the bolt off after trying to start it. But there is pressure relief at the pump when I pull the bolt off there. I feel like this is all leading to clogged lines, and I'm not sure what I could do about that, it doesn't seem as simple as pulling a line off a car at a junk yard and putting it on my car, since it's such a long line.

Yes you're right. I'll have to look into how I'm gonna replace these lines, or find a way to clean them out. Thanks for the help. I'll see if there's any kinks.

If it's just a kink, you MIGHT be able to unkink it. Just be careful - those lines are bound to be old and brittle, and might crack. If it's a clog, just attach an air compressor to where the fuel pump would go, turn it on, and let it go to town at 65 PSI.

I tried with the air compressor, but I don't think I was able to get it to seal well enough to do much. Either that, or it is in fact a kink.

Re: HELP 94 Sedan not getting fuel to filter
How would I do that exactly? Do they have some sort of a fitting for it? or should I connect it with a rubber hose and some clamps?

I doubt a hose and some clamps will hold the pressure properly. If you get a short length of hose, and get the connectors to make your own adapter, that'll probably be the route you'll have to take to properly pressurize the system.
