Can I use this alternator on my b16a
I did search this but it returned 900 replies on that topic which wasn't specific to what I was looking for, so I figured I would break my silence and ask a question.
(clears throat) Is it possible to use a D-series alternator on a B-series motor?.. like will the brakets mount up and all? I ask this becuase I am using a obd1 harness on my obd2 b16 swap and I am short for time so I need to use my current harness to get the car running. Anyway, the plugs are different and I didn't want to cut the harness unless that approach was okay, if not I would have to use my d-series alternator which will make it plug and play... I hope . So which route do you suggest? A using the d-series alternator or B using the B-series alternator by changing plug wires?
Any help will be appreciated and thanx in advance.
