Can a H23 Prelude motor fit in my 92 EG?
As the topic states is it possible and is it worth the money? I can get the motor for around 1000. Will this motor be good for turbo if it is possible? Thanks!

Check a back issue of Sport Compact Car (cant remember which one off the top of my head) but they put a H22 in a eg. You wont be able to keep power steering or A/C, and Im not sure if there will be room for a turbo either....Good luck though!

Yes it's posible.
When you say $1,000.00 do you really mean JUST the motor?
If so then I'd pass. Try to get a complete swap including:
Engine
Transmission
ECU
Engine wiring harness
Exhaust manfold
Axles (just in case you need extra axle parts since you probably won't be using the whole Prelude axles)
The rest would be getting like a HASport engine mount kit for $650.00 or so, 1990-1993 Integra axles for use with the HASport kit, and LABOR if you're not doing the swap yourself.
For the extra trouble of an H-series swap and the need for a $600+ mount kit I really hope you're getting a full swap for $1,000.00. Otherwise it might not be worth the trouble of doing the labor which includes cutting holes in your unibody to run the shift cables for just 160hp and good torque.
If the whole swap is going for $1,000.00 though then you might be onto something.
$1,000.00
$650.00 for mount kit
$300.00 or so for axles
$50 or so for modding exhaust to fit
And whatever you pay for labor if needed. That's like $2,000 total or so for a swap that would probably demolish most B16A and B18C1 swaps. If the H23A swap goes for anywhere near $2,000 though, just go H22A. Killer torque AND top-end power. H22A swaps generally go for like $2,200.00 or so.
I'm a B-Series guy personally, but if you can get a full H23A swap for $1000.00 and you're ona a budget then I say go for it.
The car will plow more and handle a tad worse than before, but with carefully thought out sus mods (not APC coil-overs on blown 150K O.E struts) you could probably have it handling pretty good.
You could always add an H22A head later and have THE baddest "Frankenstein" around!
